My name is Tati Gabru. I love all forms of art including painting, computer graphics, illustration, science, creative writing, poetry and music. No matter what form it takes my art always represents my own spiritual journey. Through my work I hope to evoke feelings of love, gratitude, unity and piece in the viewers/readers/listeners who enjoy it. I sincerely believe that art has a unique power to collect unconditional LOVE and UNITY from the Universe and transfer these gifts to the human souls.
“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.” Pablo Picasso
I started painting at four years of age in a child art studio and fell in love with it. I changed several art schools for children and at eleven years entered the Art College in Minsk, Belarus. I sold my first water color painting to a tourist visiting Minsk at the age of twelve, it was a lake with swans in a botanic garden. I graduated the Art College at fifteen dedicated to be an artist. At this point my parents got worried about my uncertain future and convinced me to study physics. So I did while continuing painting, creating and writing.
My Experience and Skills
All my high-tech studies I combined with personal art work and created my fine art practice. Along the way I became increasingly interested in computer graphics and limitless opportunities it gives to an artist. I got a tablet and became professional in Adobe Photoshop, ZBrush, Adobe Illustrator and other programs.
With a strong prior experience in Computer Graphics, Graphic Design and Power Point I created numerous presentations, website materials and graphics for the European projects I was working on in science.
