On a Saturday afternoon I decided to practice Japanese painting style called sumi-e. The spring blooming Japanese plum called sakura overlooks river Li somewhere in China. The fisher man is navigating through river waters with his companions, pelicans. These birds are widely employed by fishermen in Asia to assist them with fish catching.
While painting this sumi-e I put on some Japanese music to bring in Asian spirit to my studio in Ireland.
